Sure, we’re a stunning (yes quietly modest) race of people and clearly no arms isn’t viewed as too much of a problem.
Actually, my grandfather drove with no legs … true dinks, as an Aussie might say. Okay, so he had false ones and all the foot pedals were turned into hand controls.
I could just imagine the armless driver smiling as he looked up at the policeman and saying something along the lines of ‘No worries mate!’ when questioned about his armless driving.

I’ve hear of armless poeple painting and being able to work (how the hell can they type, is there a 10 toe system, too??), but this really kicks the bucket! HA! LOL
When I was in college there was an armless cab driver who worked for Barry’s Taxi. He literally had hands at the ends of his shoulders. His seat was as far up as it could possibly go so that he could reach the steering wheel. On one particular late evening ride home in his cab there was a fly that was bothering him. With one hand on the wheel the other was spent swatting away the pesty insect! Quite interesting to say the least.

I know there are people in the UK that drive who were born without arms. Sometimes they have a special set up.. But I feel sorry for the poor guy if he’s not aloud to drive anymore…
Lol, I would be surprised if he never drives again. It’s difficult to monitor that kind of thing in NZ … really.
60 Minutes or 20-20 had a story a few years back about a woman who was born with no arms, and has such dexterity in her feet/toes that she could drive, fold clother, change diapers and even peel potatos. More power to ’em. As long as they don’t get cars capable of doing 120mph that is.
