  1. I, your sister in Chicago, also put away my blue jeans this week for shorts, capri pants and sandles. I sent my children outside to play with no coat, no hat, no gloves, no boots – just short sleeve shirts, capri pants and a lot of sunscreen. It was in the mid to upper 70’s here today! We’ll see how long that last!

  2. Hi Cathy: No problema. If your novel makes the NYT bestseller list, I’ll tell all my friends that I knew you during your early, art-house days. And remember…if the character truly is Spanish (or of Spanish origin), then he DOESN’T drink sangria!

Hey Sister Anonymous: I’d love to wear Capri pants, too. But I just don’t have the ankles for them. I hope that Chicago’s nice weather continues until Christmas. Otherwise, I might demand that Christmas 2006 take place in Spain.

  3. Bastard! What else can I say…..I have put away the snow shovel and boots for now.
Hopefully the Danish summer will show itself from the bright side and I won’t have to shovel snow again until November.

  4. Hello my Viking friend!

Welcome back from Easter Island. You may not yet have summer weather in Copenhagen, but at least you have herring. Lots of herring. Mmmmmmm…herrrrrrrring.

    Hakkebøf med bløde løg!
